7-mile-in-length project, starting between Jedburg Rd. and SC-27 that will widen the Interstate to 3 lanes each way. The stretch from mile marker 187 to mile marker 194.
As of 2022, this award was one of the largest SCDOT Projects Banks has been awarded and an exciting time for our team.
Expected Completion is 2026.

This March makes 5 Years for Survey Instrument Man Thomas (Tommy) Smith. You can often find him and Charlie Hecker on projects around the Lowcountry working together to ensure accurate measurements and layouts, to keep those projects on track. They’re just about wrapped up on Berlin G. Myers and headed to Main Rd Corridor I Segment A next.
