Description

The design-build contract was awarded to the Archer-United-Banks Joint Venture on September 10th of 2024, and the project is expected to be completed within four years of commencement.
As of 2024, Banks Construction was super excited to land, once again, the biggest project that we have ever had.
Banks is part of a tri-venture with Archer Western and United Infrastructure Group, and together we will be tackling a 350 million dollar project for Charleston County.
Segment A of the project begins at Bees Ferry Road and continues along Main Road across US 17, ending at the intersection of River Road at Chisolm Road.

This March makes 5 Years for Survey Instrument Man Thomas (Tommy) Smith. You can often find him and Charlie Hecker on projects around the Lowcountry working together to ensure accurate measurements and layouts, to keep those projects on track. They’re just about wrapped up on Berlin G. Myers and headed to Main Rd Corridor I Segment A next.
