Resurfacing 5.42 miles of N. Highway 17 in McClellanville, SC
The project scope included 8-inch full-depth patching, milling, 2-ft shoulder widening, and surface course paving
Per SCDOT specifications, the completed road needed an IRI of 90 or below. Banks finished the project with IRI numbers between 51 and 54, which show the drastic improvements that were made.

You can often find him and Charlie Hecker on projects around the Lowcountry working together to ensure accurate measurements and layouts, to keep those projects on track. They’re just about wrapped up on Berlin G. Myers and headed to Main Rd Corridor I Segment A next.
