At Banks Construction, our Transportation Team is made up of dedicated team members, including tri-axle drivers, lowboy drivers, fuel truck drivers, liquid tanker drivers, tack truck drivers, and sweeper truck drivers who play a vital role in executing daily operations and keeping our projects moving forward.
These drivers are the backbone of our operations, ensuring that equipment, materials, and essential supplies are transported safely and on time. Their expertise and commitment to safety, reliability, and efficiency allow us to meet our project deadlines and exceed expectations, day in and day out.
Utilizing our extensive fleet of company-owned paving equipment, the expertise of our maintenance team, the dependability of our dump trucks and drivers, and the watchful eye of our Traffic Control department, our crews work day and night to ensure their work is done safely, correctly, and efficiently.
I greatly appreciated the opportunity to participate in the internship program this past summer. Despite having no prior experience in construction or asphalt, I was impressed by how actively involved we were from day one. The combination of field and office work offered a comprehensive understanding of the daily processes involved in completing a project. This experience also provided valuable insights into each component, which has been instrumental in my current role as a Contract Administrator.
I'm Stanford Williams. Well, dealing with this is, like, time consuming. But I came here with no experience. You know, I know how to run a front end loader, a backhoe, but everything else I wasn't familiar with. But everybody took the time out to show me how to run all the equipment. I recommend if anybody wants to come over to reclamation, come on over and just take your time and learn it. You know, start small and work your way on up. There's no such thing as you can't do it because you can do it, you know, so don’t ever doubt yourself. Don't never down yourself. And you can be what you want to be.
