This morning (7/07/23) Transportation Superintendent Angelo Todd and Head Trainer Rett Harris got our transportation team together for a morning meeting to communicate key topics and highlight what a great job they have been doing.
They’ve recently assigned team captains in an effort for continuous improvement in how we train and support our drivers. So if you see these captains around wearing their gold hard hats, just know that they’re as Angelo said, “setting that gold standard” here at Banks.
Also, for the month of June, 55 out of 60 of our drivers were 80 and above on their driver score in our Samsara platform, which we use for tracking our equipment and more. This score includes things like wearing their seatbelt, no cellphone usage behind the wheel, proper braking, no speeding, etc.
It was a great way to kick off this Friday and to end an awesome 4th of July week. Hope all of our drivers enjoy their koozie, sticker, and whatever they get with their gift card!
