Nate Hubbart – Fuel Truck Driver
“Nate has been a valued member of BCC for just over a year and a half, initially joining as a triaxle driver. His versatility shone through when he quickly adapted to driving a tack truck and stepped up as a fuel truck driver during a critical time for the team. Though he often works nights and isn’t seen much, his contributions are deeply appreciated.
Originally from Colorado Springs, Nate grew up in a military family. He has an older brother who also drives a tack for BCC at night, creating a strong family connection within the company.
Nate was a letterman in baseball as an outfielder for the Summerville Greenwave. After high school, he set aside his baseball career to pursue an academic scholarship at Charleston Southern University, where he studied biology with a minor in sociology earning a bachelor’s degree. Though he didn’t play at the collegiate level, he remains a devoted fan of the St. Louis Cardinals, with a special admiration for his favorite player, Albert Pujols.
Outside of work, Nate is a dedicated family man and enjoys spending time with his son. He has a passion for building race cars and is currently restoring a 1974 Chevy Caprice. An avid reader and baseball enthusiast, Nate continues to embrace the game he loves in his leisure time.” Transportation Superintendent Angelo Todd
